There are substantial claims being made for how modern monitoring, reporting and verification of biodiversity gain are likely to reduce costs.
All monitoring methods have their advantage and disadvantages and the same is true of innovative environmental monitoring techniques including the use of artificial intelligence (AI).
This Panel will explore how nature tech and AI techniques be used most effectively and examples of how monitoring costs can be substantially reduced by combining modern MRV with more traditional monitoring.
