The principle of Biodiversity Net Gain has become formalised in UK legislation in 2024.

This Panel will explore how this legislation is working from the viewpoint of developers, planning authorities and those providing the offset options.

Examples of best practice from all sides in this debate will be given and an estimate made of the likely impact on nature conservation funding in the UK.
