  • Schedule
18 July 1100-1230, Co-op Lecture Theatre

Meeting carbon and nature targets using insetting and the circular economy

Chair: Isabel Hoffmann, Nature Finance

Panellists:

  • Andrew Dreaneen, Global Head of Natural Capital, Savills Investment Management

  • Ben Hart, Head of Operations, Nattergal

  • Danielle Mulder, Director of Sustainability, BBC

  • Professor Douglas Yu, University of East Anglia

Many corporates are now at the stage of quantifying and reducing the impact their scope 3 suppliers are having on carbon emissions and nature impacts.

These are being tackled in many different ways but the panel will report on innovative approaches to this issue. In addition, companies are looking to their own land to sequester carbon and improve wildlife or investing more in a circular economy so their demand for materials that have an impact on carbon and biodiversity are reduced.

This panel will introduce examples from a range of sectors of best practice in these areas.
