The launch of the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) report for corporates in late 2023 led to over 300 ‘early adopter’ corporates pledging to comply with the reporting requirements by 2025.
Companies representing 69% of the FTSE 100 have also set or committed to setting science-based targets for nature (SBTN). Many corporates are also considering committing to a Nature Positive goal by 2030 to help achieve the Global Biodiversity Framework targets. In addition, the EU is developing regulations on green reporting and avoidance of greenwashing and on sourcing of timber from areas with net zero deforestation targets.
This session will hear from leading companies involved in the TNFD and SBTN trials and discuss how to commit to the Nature Positive goal.
